On the closing ceremony of ‘15th International Gas Union Research Conference (IGRC Rio 2017)’ held on 26th of May 2017 in Brazil, National Iranian Gas Co. (NIGC) was announced to host the 16th IGRC Conference in Iran.
In this regard, the third meeting of the Steering Committee on the hosting of the conference was held with the participation of the chairman of the National Organizing Committee and other members and delegates in April 2018 through Internet communication with the International Gas Union Directors.
According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, topics such as choosing a PCO (Professional Conference Organiser) for holding IGRC 2020, the time of conference, examining the risks, and holding the technology market were discussed in the meeting.
It’s worth mentioning that, the theme of the IGRC2020 conference is “gas innovation: powering a sustainable future”.
New technologies in production, processing, transmission, distribution and consumption of natural gas in the form of scientific research papers will be presented.
